Your privacy
SunSchedule has no accounts, sign-up forms or contact forms. Calculator controls run in your browser. Website usage measurement is described below.
Location lookups
We use a location only when you explicitly enter or select it for a sun schedule lookup, including choosing a point on the map or pressing “Use my location” and allowing browser access. The default city is a preset, not a detected location.
Your chosen location is used in memory to calculate results on your device. It is not sent to us or saved in cookies or browser storage. Recent selections are available only while the page stays open. Location preferences saved by earlier versions are removed when you open the calculator.
Cookies and advertising
SunSchedule uses Google Analytics (GA4) to measure website visits and improve the site. When enabled, Google Analytics receives usage information and can store analytics cookies. Google advertising features and personalised advertising are disabled; SunSchedule currently serves no ads.
For visitors in the EEA and UK, analytics does not load until you choose Accept. We use the country code from our hosting provider to select this behavior; if that lookup fails, we ask before loading analytics. Elsewhere, analytics can load automatically unless you have rejected it.
Use Privacy choices on any main website page to accept or reject analytics. Your choice is saved in browser local storage; rejecting clears this site’s Google Analytics cookies. Embedded widgets do not load analytics. For information about Google’s processing, see Google’s privacy policy.
Website delivery and contact
Our hosting provider processes technical connection information, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from the location you choose in the calculator.
